I recently sailed from the Seychelles to the Maldives and on to Chagos Archipelago and absolutely loved it. The sailing, snorkelling, swimming and exploring were amazing. I live in a village in an apartment overlooking the sea on the South Coast of South Africa. I have an adventurous, fun side, enjoy cooking, have recently embarked on travel journalism, teach computer software, enjoy good company found yachties in the marinas and on the islands to be very special people. Sailing….being out on the deep blue ocean with the magnificent burnt orange sunsets, brilliant starry nights, sunrises that look like mirages after a long night of being on duty, the planning and plotting, the joint excitement of catching a fish, bathing in the rain, good company, understanding and supporting each other when the queasiness kicks in on those rough, choppy days, being creative while trying to concoct a meal out of odd leftover tins, the soft sound of music being carried on the breeze - indescribable .
