I asked some friends to describe me and they said I'm communicative, creative, spirited, smart, caring, passionate and authentic. See what you can get for a couple of beers? :-) I strive to see the positives in life, glass half full, lemons to lemonade and that type of thing---life is just better that way.

I'm most attracted to a woman who is smart, confident, spirited and expressive. Open communication is really important--both ways. I've heard some guys are intimidated by an intelligent, self-assured and accomplished woman--not me. I think love starts with friendship...and then gets ignited. My favorite quote on romance is "Love is Friendship on Fire".....just takes the right sparks and kindling....

In addition to sailing, I like biking, tennis, working out, rafting, travel (especially International) great food and drink (from burgers and beer to fine dining and bordeaux), and learning/trying new things in general. I'll try just about anything that looks fun--as long as it isn't immediately life threatening.
