I have so missed the sea! The adventures, experiences, people and cultures. I love to travel but also like and want to have the time to stop and smell the roses. I have been land-locked for 20 years in more ways than one.
I am looking to either purchase a boat or partner/crew (platonic to start) whichever comes first...probably the boat! I am free to travel anywhere at any time without time restrictions at present.
I am semi retired (Army Pension) but will continue to work part time, wherever i may be, on media commissions.
I would like to spend the next 10 years sailing the big U spending as much time as possible at all islands and countries in between with emphasis on the warmer climates. What happens after, I have no idea, Island living or boat island living, time will tell and that is another adventure.
About me and what I am looking for...
I love sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, skiing, rugby, fishing, reading and occasionally watching a "good" meaningful movie. I love to cook and am a bit of a foodie (winey) too. I do have a great sense of humour although I am at times a little bit of an introvert. I do enjoy keeping active but also love lazy days. I am looking to simplify life to a degree too. I have very little time for religion after what I have witnessed but do have a naturalistic spirituality.
I am very passionate, really adore intimacy and commitment.
