Me...I'm a very young minded (and some say behaved!) laid back, utterly normal (but not boring, hopefully) 56 year old from Norfolk. I left my boat in Guernsey at the end of last summer and I think this year we're going to explore the islands and France. When I say 'we' what I really mean is me and my only permanent but totally rubbish crew member - Mutley, my Tibetan Terrier. It's just me and him and we're going to be cruising from April all the way till September and it would be lovely to have some company from time to time. What else? Walks (of course), photography and a bit of watercolour painting (I'm no Van Gogh though!). I've also discovered a bit of an interest in cooking lately.

I did my day skipper about 5 or 6 years ago, bought a 25 footer and sailed that up and down the east coast for a few years then, a couple of years ago, I bought a Moody 336 which isn't huge (obviously!) but seems to suit me very well.
I would not claim to be highly experienced but last year I sailed her (Dream Catcher) from Lowestoft around to Falmouth (very slowly - there's lots to explore!) and then over to Guernsey without mishap. I had the benefit of time I suppose, so I was able to pick my weather and not take risks. I expect I'll do the same this year. I'm jus' cruisin'. Not hardcore. I'm exploring really and I'm not trying to break any records. I love the sailing, but I love the destinations too. - Sailing Qualifications:
