I’m originally from England, but I have lived in Spain and the United States most of my adult life. Home is Tampa, Florida, but I also have a home in Dénia on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Currently I'm in New Bern, NC refitting my new-to-me Hylas 46. I work in tech, mostly developing software. I love to hike, kayak and dive when I’m not working, or sailing.

I have sailed on and off since I was a kid. A few years ago I bought a 19ft sailing boat to hone my skills in preparation for a larger, live aboard yacht. I made that leap in 2022 and now have a beautiful Hylas 46. She's on the hard and getting refit for new adventures. I hope to splash by March/April 2023. I have crossed the Atlantic 4 times, but in nothing under 100,000 tonnes. The goal is to make the crossing under sail.
