I have worked hard all my life and now I am taking time to enjoy life sailing the Great Barrier Reef in my newly built custom sailing catamaran. I have recently completed sea trials sailing from Hervey Bay to Thursday Island and everything with the new boat is ship shape. I don’t intend to go back to working hard and this is my literal sea change. I am best described as someone adventurous who sails, not so much a genuine sailor. I enjoy sailing, fishing, diving, beach/bush walking and relaxing. This is why the GBR is my favourite place on the planet.

I spent 7 years in the navy as a Seaman Officer/navigator/Hydrographic surveyor in my 20’s with over 2000hrs watchkeeping experience. My sailing experience is not significant and the sea trials for this new cat is my biggest sailing voyage to date.
