I'm ready to continue the adventure of my life!! I can tie a bowline & have helped clean the hull. Love living on the water and looking for a fun loving captain with a good sense of humor who can still enjoy the pleasure of a beautiful sunset or a pod of dolphins at the bow.

I have provisioned, planned routes with way points, studied the guide books to find interesting places to visit, took watches, helped docking, anchoring, handled lines, helped with sails, cleaned, cooked, fix-it projects, drove the dinghy (and yes, I can get into the dinghy in open water) and was a smiling crew member. How can you be unhappy when you get to see the beautiful water everyday?? I'm a retired SSI Scuba Instructor. I love teaching & learning & am an expert seamstress. If you have the sewing machine I can restitch bimini/dodgers, make cushions, etc. I've been on 5 boats to be sure I love living on them. Now I'm looking for an easy going captain who is willing to teach me more about sailing and/or living on the ocean and to enjoy it as only a couple can. I love to explore, hike, snorkel, kayak, dive, relax, read a book, plan routes and watch the sunsets. I also enjoy a good game of cribbage, dominoes, etc. I enjoy a cocktail on occasion, but can easily live without. A stimulating conversation is a pleasure as is quiet time to myself. Born and raised a South Dakota farm girl, but love the ocean more!

I grew up and lived in South Dakota all my life but have always loved the water. At the end of 2015 I quit my job, sold my house and gave away most of my stuff. Since then I have lived on/helped crew boats from Brunswick, GA (ICW and off shore) to the Bahamas and have finally found the place I really want to be - ON THE WATER. Being IN the water is a close second desire! Sailing, trawler or power boats, I love them all. The Bahamas and Caribbean are beautiful. Being a scuba diver with over 400 dives the entire Caribbean has been a favorite of mine and will continue to be but the South Pacific is calling my name. I am up for the adventure!! If I find one special person to share it with it would be great but not necessary to enjoy the ocean and all it has to offer. Please consider me for crew on your boat and to share your adventures. If we are compatible and can turn it into more both our dreams will be fulfilled. I have the world to discover and time to do it! And the resources to pay my way.

One important last thought, I'm a very blessed Christian believer and a grateful eternal optimist. I try to find the positive in every situation and always will!
