I am currently setting up for a sail around the UK for 2016 with the view of ending up in the Med for winter.. From there, I'll see where the wind blows.

I'm a decent guy, honest and open, that simply wants to enjoy this planet and life upon it a lot more than what is ordinarily available. I am single and childless.

I am a strong man, with lots of survival experience as well as travel and solo adventuring know-how. I have once previously had a liveaboard, which was in the Carib.

I shall continue my business, in a milder manner via the internet and I want to write a book.

I wondered if there may be a like-minded lady out there that wishes to come sailing... I opt to seek female companionship due to my preference for female friends. I have always formed very strong friendships with the fairer sex.

Ooo, I forgot to mention that I hold a FdSc degree in Marine Engineering. I currently work on a sub-contracted basis at a shipyard in Rochester - whilst I ready my vessel for the upcoming journey.

Whilst being a landlubber over previous years I was active in 2-stroke motorcycling, especially building/supplying hybrids. I still have a parts business in this, yet it has been simmering on the back burners for a few months now.
