About Me:

Very active single sailor and skier. I also love tennis and ballroom dancing. I was a single mom since my daughter's father walked out when she was 4 months. This left little time for racing but we did some cruising on other people's boats and in 2007 I bought my Bristol 29.9 and we cruised it regularly. My daughter finished college and has moved out and on her own. I have recently gotten involved with Ideal 18 racing at my club but really prefer big boat cruising.

Sailing Experience:

I started sailing in 1990 and then became very active in sailboat racing both blue water and coastal from 1992. Major Races included: Newport to Bermuda 1996 & 1998 (1998 as Navigator), Annapolis to Newport 1997, Marblehead to Halifax 1995, 8 Vineyard races, 5 Block Island races, 2 Around Long Island races, and numerous overnight races. I also day raced almost every weekend from April - October in 1992-1999. I have cruised from Bermuda to New York and New York to Edgartown MA. In 2007, I bought Lille Venn, a Bristol 29.9 and took her cruising with it almost every weekend until I sold it at the end of 2023. I have taken her to Edgartown, The Cape, Block Island and Shelter Island. Since then I have been racing and cruising on other peoples' boats. Most recently I cruised the Exumas In March 2025 on a friend's Leopard 44.
