Retired commercial ship's Captain looking to share adventures and create great experiences and memories. Now living aboard my 2023 12m Hanse 418 sailing boat cruising the Eastern Mediterranean with my faithful and very friendly canine companion, Toby (7 year old miniature poodle)
Although born in the UK, I lived in Australia for many years but decided to opt for the cruising lifestyle in 2022.
I took delivery of my boat "Diane" in Slovenia in April 2023 and have been cruising since then. I am currently wintering in the UNESCO listed Bay of Kotor, Tivat, Montenegro, which is a useful base to reset the Schengen clock.

Sailing Experience:

I started sailing many years ago when, as a young teenager, I joined the Sea Scouts. Went to sea as a Deck Cadet in 1975 when I was 19 and worked my way up through the ranks to become Captain at age 32.
I have previously worked for an RYA Sailing School in Australia and also as a Trainer of Masters and Mates.
Most of my sailing has been in NW Europe and Australia so I am now enjoying and looking forward to discovering more of the Eastern Mediterranean.
