I am a single nurse practitioner who is interested in finding the love of my life - a best friend, lover, confidant who loves sailing. I have boating experience but have recently discovered the love of sailing.
I am drawn to anything water- kayaking, snorkeling, boating, swimming.
I am intrigued with the Wim Hof Method using breathing and cold water immersion to improve one’s health. I’m quite handy to have around in case of a health emergency given my years of healthcare experience / ER/ open heart unit experience.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2020- changed my life completely.
I eat very healthy, light and Whole Foods.
I avoid most meats and processed foods.
Fresh fish on the grill is a blessing from the sea .
I am 5’9 and 141 lbs - I pride myself in being healthy and sugar - free. I do not smoke nor do drugs. I rarely consume a drink of alcohol.
I have tattoos minimal but that are very meaningful to me- and I cover them
When in public places (oh- the horror).

I have begun the process of simplifying my life-
Selling unnecessary material things, antiques of no sentimental value in order to downsize my life in order to upsize my world. I bought a 6 acre parcel of land to put a tiny house on in Maine- but have decided not to build yet. I have moved onto a friends farm in Maine to help her with and learn as much as I can about homesteading, horses, farming, self-sustaining practices and beekeeping. I also volunteer at a wildlife center caring for orphaned, injured or sick wildlife with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. I happen to be the marsupial/ opossum specialist .
I have lived my life caring for thousands of patients over the years- and feel it’s time to see the world with a special someone.
I am fearless to a point - I do not shy away from hard physical work and I love a challenge.
I plan on attending sailing school in Portland and would love to find that love of my life & sail off into the sunset.
I have been told I am thoughtful, caring and affectionate. I am curious & love to learn and try new things. I am calm in the storm. I do not anger easily - life is wayyyy to short for that. I am respectful and honest. You can dress me up in a beautiful cocktail dress or I can be just as striking in my Carhartt overalls.
I love to read, mostly nonfiction- historical books, biographies etc. and poetry. I am an artist - I work in acrylic’s, pastels and pen & ink.
I am a true hopeless romantic - but hopeful still
Of finding the love of my lifetime.
