I am a Yankee stuck in the south. For now. I am looking to retire n the next year and will probably move back north to Maine or Nova Scotia. I could go through all of the boy scout qualifications, but I will spare you that. Although I have sailed from North Carolina to Nova Scotia twice and owned a 35 foot cutter rigged "leakie teakie" for 10 years my experience is more with bigger ship. I am a merchant sailor by trade. I have sailed ships over much of the world. Middle east, Hawaii, Europe, etc. I currently work for NOAA as a able bodied seaman.
