I didn’t know how to put together this “CV” so I asked a female friend to say how they would describe me: Apparently she says I am good company, easy going, considerate and thoughtful, enthusiastic, a gentleman, a great cook, fun to be with, young at heart, not boring talking about man stuff!

I recently lost my partner of 30 years and am hoping to meet someone who has an interest in boating for friendship, walking, talking, lunching and join my on my motor cruiser, a Sealine 37 fly bridge which is moored in Port Solent at the bottom of my garden, for days out on the Solent visiting the many lovely marinas and harbours. I can handle the boat single handed, I don’t shout, keep things safe and when sailing with me you can relax or help with the boating side of things. There is something so special just being on the water.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family.

My hobbies include swimming at the gym, reading, cooking, basic DIY, socialising, travelling. I enjoy sailing too and have sailed with friends in the Solent and The Med.

I am a retired dealer principle and one of my most rewarding achievements was setting up a charity with my partner in Kenya building a school.

It would be good to meet up for a coffee or lunch.
