I am a 21-year-old man who sees sailing rather as a lifestyle than a hobby. Right now, I am a student in software engineering with a past in industrial and residential electrical installation techniques who have the ambition to start a life existing out of living on a sailboat while working as a freelancer. My future plans for the next 5-10 years is to buy and restore a steel sail yacht and explore Scandinavia, Greenland and Alaska. For this lifetime adventure, I am I looking for a partner who is as passionate about this kind of lifestyle as I am. I speak Dutch, English and a bit of French. I have 7 years of sailing experience and many weeks of hard labor winter maintenance.
- Sailing Experience:

I started sailing in 2014.
From then on almost every single Friday the local club competition on every ship where there was a need for crew members. In Summer break I sailed almost every year between 5 and 10 days on the North Sea.
In 2020, I Started in the Nautical Academy of Antwerp (Belgium) but I had to stop during the pandemic because my grades went down. I did have an extensive education which went decent including chart navigation, weather forecast prediction, GMDSS, VHF, Safety courses, First Aid, Regulations and flags, Morse, Basic knowledge of onboard apparatus, Firefighting, motorboat maneuvering, Maritime English, Star navigation and much more.
I am planning to take the ICC exam and a VHF certificate to have some valid papers.
Furthermore, I dit rent a yacht on my own past summer in the Netherlands as a form of exercise to keep my knowledge up to date. This trip was amazing.
Overall sailed distance:
+-15 NM/ week for 20 weeks/ year =+- 300NM/year for 5 years= +- 1500 NM
And between 200 and 400 NM for every multiple day sailtrip for the past 6 years= 1800 NM = total of +-3300NM - Sailing Qualifications:
