I'm an experienced lake sailor and I'm transitioning to Bluewater. I have ideas and plans about some long adventures. I'm also a divorced man with children who are grown. I'm a physician. I have spent years on lakes. I have a CNC 34 that I maintain and sell on weekends and sometimes weekday evenings. I am refitting a Shannon 38 which I keep down in Georgia. Should be ready to put in six months. I've only spent a few weeks on Bluewater, so I am Thinking of heading up to the mouth of the Chesapeake and finding a marina there. And spend the next year or two learning in and out of the bay. I'm open to other thoughts.

I'm thinking of starting with the Coast Guard courses, but only if I absolutely have to for international travel. I'm a busy physician right now and trying to get my kids to college but studying and passing test are easy for me. What I really need is the experience. I would love to find an experienced woman who will help megain experience, I need to be confident.
