Ahoy there! I'm Joy, a 49-year-old who's absolutely enamored with the sea breeze and the thrill of sailing. Whether it's navigating through challenging waters or relaxing under a starlit sky, I find solace and joy in every moment spent on the open waters. I’m a latecomer to sailing, only discovering it a few years ago while on a holiday trip to Tahiti and last winter on a 40 days sailing adventure as crew from Florida to The Bahamas and absolutely loved the experiences.
Always lived close to the water and loved the ocean, the sun and warm weather.
When I'm not out on the water, you can find me outside biking, walking my dog, at the gym, cooking or just relaxing at home.
Today I'm very happy with all aspects in my life:
I'm divorced, have 2 amazing grown-up kids and a dog and I work remotely what gives me a lot of freedom to travel. But I'm missing a partner, a like-minded companion to share the next experiences and chapters of my life.
The idea of discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and watching sunsets from the deck is something I look for.
I'm searching for someone with a sense of adventure, a love for exploring new places, and the ability to find joy in the little moments. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or someone eager to learn the ropes, I believe that the connection between two people can be as beautiful and unpredictable as the ocean itself.
