After spending 2021 and 2022 sailing the eastern seaboard from NY to Key West and then traveling across the entire US solo in an old Chevy van, I have finally settled in Santa Cruz. California. I am a member of the SCYC and enjoy racing each week. Living 5 minutes from the ocean definitely has its advantages.
I love music, art, old cars, planes, documentaries and those with a quick sense of humor etc. I WILL laugh at your bad jokes. Love Dark and Stormies, walks on the beach and hikes thru the mountains, skiing the Sierras.
Have passport, will travel! Looking for that someone special to continue life's adventure on land, sea and air. Frankly it's just more fun with someone vs solo.

Grew up on the finger lakes of upstate NY learning to sail at age 12 on my little Sunfish Sailboat and it was a game changer. (Still have it safely stored at my daughter's home in Green Bay Wisconsin) I soon moved up to a 1940's Thistle with wooden mast and boom then a Hobie 16 Cat. Started racing C and C 29's on lake Ontario out of Genesee Yacht Club in my 40's. At 54 years old I sold everything, bought a 1990 Pearson 33 and lived aboard for a year in 2021 traveling the Erie canal and ICW all the way to the Florida Keys with friends and family as crew. After selling the boat I bought an old Chevy camper van to travel to the west coast (a bit faster than 5 knots) for Pacific life and sailing. Currently crewing on a 41' Benneteau and and an Olsen 30 out of Santa Cruz Yacht Club.
