Semi-retired professional looking to sail to the med in early 2023 following full retirement. Fully fit, in my late sixties, I own a 40 ft motor sailer which is very seaworthy with two cabins both en-suite.

Sailed dingies and small cruisers in my teens. Became a fisherman and qualified as a trawler skipper. Captained a Fisheries Reasearch Ship in Middle East for four years before going in to business. Over 12 years experience as an RNLI lifeboat crew with 4 years as Deputy Coxswain in Cornwall. Just about to complete sail around the UK.
