I will try to explain my reasons for entering this site.
I was still young when I found out that my life is connected to the water and especially the sea.
That started at a young age with a canoe, followed by various catamarans (round Texel) and ended up as a boat builder of yachts that sail around the world.
During that period I sailed on the North Sea, Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea, the Atlantic (Canary Islands) and the Mediterranean Sea, but I never had any plans for a world trip myself.
When I discovered the beautiful coasts and the many islands of Croatia, I decided to settle there.
A wonderful climate, crystal clear sea and beautiful coasts from Croatia to Turkey, with almost uninhabited islands, give me a feeling of paradise.
I also like being able to share these things with someone else, but I don't like groups and time schedules, because those don't work if you really want to sail.
I find it also nice and important if you do the maintenance on the boat yourself, so that you get to know the boat well.
Here in Istria I rent out my holiday homes, in addition to boats, so unfortunately I have little time in the summer months to go out on my own
Am looking for a partner in crime to make nice trips and possibly build a life together.
