I grew up on motorboats but started to fall in love with sailing in San Francisco bay near where I'm originally from.
From there I had an office on the marina in Newport Beach, California watching all the yachts go out. Later it was a sailing trip from St. Lucia to Grenada that really hooked me on sailing instead of motor yachts. I've also experienced many trips through Puget Sound which I absolutely love!
I now have felt land locked in Austin even with lake sailing with friends. My dream used to be to retire and sail the world, but I'll settle for even short trips especially during summer heat of Texas.
I'm on a 4 month road trip across western u.s. and have learned to work remotely. Now the travel bug has bit me and want to do it on the water ;) - Sailing Qualifications:
