Thank you for reading my profile.
Trying to properly describe oneself on a webpage is always a bit challenging but here I go.
I'm currently 56 years old and closing in on retirement in 2023. I bought my sailboat, a Gozzard 31 back in 2020. I've been slowly getting her into proper cruising form while mostly day sailing her when time allows. I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge, experience and cruising area over the next 2 years so that once I'm retired I can cruise at a full time status.
That is what brings me to this site.
My sailboat is berthed at Harbor Island in San Diego, CA.
I'm looking for fellow sailors with any range of experience to join me.
If we enjoy each other's company then we can be friends.
If there is a mutual attraction then perhaps we could be more than friends.
I'm an easy going Captain who always puts safety first. I always maintain absolute sobriety while under way. If a crew mate wants to have a drink while under way I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't impact their ability to be safe.
