Instructed sailing at Cornell University for 3 years, purchased my current boat 6 years ago. Great Lakes sailor, some deliveries (last one Lake Ontario to Lake Michigan). Generally single-handing my Carter 39 in all conditions - for those of you who equate "lake" to "millpond" you should try a rough squall on Ontario!
