I love the sea and the adventure and freedom that goes with it - BIG TIME - I have sailed in Brittany, France, UK, Seychelles, Amirantes, East Turkey Aegean and Mediterranean coasts and around here in Miami.

Some of my best experiences are sailing to remote places in the Amirantes that had not been reached by civilization and no electricity, and sailing at night in the Aegean where the skies are particularly clear, clouded with stars, the best moment being the end of the night, dawn and sunrise. The kind of energy is unforgettable.

I was also initiated to moonlight freediving and speargun hunting, which was scary the first time but it's actually an amazing experience to dive at night.

When I lived in Turkey, I sailed their beautiful Aegean and Mediterranean Coasts on an Oceanis 40 with my brother and my daughter, and I wish I'd never leave that boat.

It all started on the 6 m tiny Corsaire of my childhood friends's father when I was 10, sailing in between La Trinite Sur Mer and Belle-Ile-en-Mer in the Quiberon Bay.

I am a Dutch-Belgian American speaking French as my mother language and raised in France, semi retired CEO, college graduate high energy, in great shape and looking forward to be surrounded with high energy crews practicing sports and workouts constantly.

Originally, one year ago, when I was captain of Sharp Shark, I used this site to gather a crew to sail this Fountaine Pajot 46" catamaran to the Spanish Wells in the Bahamas, but I didn't pay attention to the Friends and Dating possibilities.

I am single at this time and I am into looking first for friendships Lol. Of course I may fall in love with a very fine and pretty cook, and/or an efficient and sexy Mate could turn to be my future soulmate lol. That's Destiny. But my priority is to find friendly crews here, for fun and friendly ventures on the Seven Seas.

I was 10 years old when I first sailed and I am in love with anything that has a sail and moves on the water. I am also a PADI diver and a free diver.

I am about to acquire a 40 footer Marc Pajot sailing catamaran and therefore in the process of making preliminary contacts to put together a crew list.
