I was introduced to sailing in 2006 and spent 3 weeks onboard a boat where we sailed from Scotland to Ireland and then to Malaga spain and Gibraltar.
We began on the west coast of a scottish port and sailed south through the north sea.
Passing through the English Channel.
We sailed South through the Celtic Sea into the Bay of Biscay.
We passed through the Iberian peninsula and arrived at the strait of of Gibraltar.
The total distance sailing fromScotland to Gibraltar is over 1400 nautical miles.
