Born and bred in London to Greek Cypriot immigrant parents, I work and live in London. I did the Competent crew member course in November 22, and will begin Day Skipper theory in February 23, then practical in April. I would like to progress to Yacht Master.
I've been dreaming of sailing for many years, and it's now time to make it happen!
I've been through some turmoil last couple of years with my son suffering mental health crises and my dad passing away in Feb 22 from Altzhiemers, time to do what I've always dreamed of for my own sanitys sake!
My short term goals are to learn from more experienced sailors looking for crew.
Long term goal is own my own boat and sail to the Med, from where I originate...to start with.
I'm also a bit of a foodie love to cook and learn new recipes, so can talk forever about that.
I keep 3 fish tanks, love photography, and keep myself fit with cycling, amongst other interests, DIY, and good with mechanical stuff.
I've worked since the age of 15, missed out on proper education due to mixture of laziness and boredom with school curriculum, planning to retire in 4 to 5 years and I want to devote the rest of my life exploring the deep blue!
I'm a fantasist and a child at heart, and still think I can have the same adventures as Jason and the argonauts!
