As a follow on to our Nautical Terms article, we have compiled another list of interesting sailing terms and their origins. It’s not always clear as to the exact origin of the saying, some have several, so as always a pinch of salt is required!

The annual Beaulieu Boat Jumble is taking place this Sunday 28th April 2013 at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Situated in the beautiful New Forest National Park, the Beaulieu Estate has been home to the boat jumble for some 36 years now.
