Trips on the Horizon
Location: Nadi, Fiji
Dates: Aug 15, 2024 – Aug 26, 2024

Hey, I thought I’d post this here… who knows! I’m headed to Fiji for two weeks (Aug. 2024) for diving, freediving, spearfishing and staying in a village.  Anyone out that way need a hand, please let me know!

Montenegro/Albania/Corfu Mid August- Mid September

Dates: Aug 16, 2024 – Sep 16, 2024

I intend to sail along the Albanian coast from around 16th August leaving from Tivat in Montenegro. There are regular flights to Tivat. My final destination is Corfu Town and I’m aiming to get there by 16th September when a new crew will join my boat. There should be chances to stop in various ports and anchorages and to explore some of Albania as I head south. I am hoping we will sail for most of the passage with a following N/W wind.

The boat is a Beneteau 46.1 , 3 years old. It is comfortable and well equipped with 3 good cabins.

I am not expecting any financial contributions, just to be joined by one or two cheerful and capable crew for this interesting trip.

Solent in The Summer

I keep my boat Sensation in Gosport, and am looking for new crewmembers for day trips, weekends and/or weekdays into the Solent and possibly beyond. Any standard, including beginners, are welcome and training and buoyancy aids will be provided (I am told I am friendly and make a good teacher). One to three crew members are required for any one voyage. Food & marina costs shared equally, but otherwise no charge. August – mid-September.

Visit several harbors, anchorages on the islands, enjoy France’s good food and picturesque outdoor markets. Also inland short trips on car rental as opportunity happens. Only contribute to running costs and food.
