Love Stories – Jeff and Janine

A love story on the East Coast

Learning about our members adventures is one of our favourite things! It’s great to be part of a thriving sailing community where there’s so much going on. From sailing holidays to meet-ups and dates, the Lovesail team are proud to connect sailors from around the world.

As a dating and networking site, our main aim is to help you sail into the sunset with your perfect first mate. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing about our members success stories and this month we were particularly happy to hear Jeff and Janine’s story.

The couple told us:

“We met on Lovesail. Janine was in Boston, MA. Jeff was sailing down the east coast of the US and had reached Florida.

Janine was about to start a new job but decided that a week of sailing prior to becoming a responsible adult would be fun. We got as far south as Miami and were having an amazing time.

We knew we wanted to continue sailing together so Janine returned to Boston, packed up her things, and was back on board a week later. Then we sailed into the Bahamas for an incredible seven months of sailing adventures. Our love for each other could not be denied.

Back in the United States, we were wed on September 11.

So now we are at nice marina and have plugged ourselves back into society for a while as we plan our next sailing adventure. Thank you Lovesail for bringing us together.”
