1985 Islander 28

Saildreamer –  Well maintained, clean, Robert Perry designed Islander 28. Lots of updates. Located in Stratford, CT.  As you can see just from the prop alone – I absolutely love this boat and hate to give her up but I needed to upgrade. She’s a super comfortable, well-balanced cruiser/racer. She single hands well and is comfy for 2 adults for cruising. If you have 2 more she can handle it as well for those shorter overnight/weekend trips. This boat is SO easy to single hand, with an autohelm that tacks for you while you do the crew work. She’s easy to maintain and sails like a dream. Anchor out for some sunning (there’s room on deck to relax and get that tan!) and take a swim off the transom with dinner to follow after a sweet day of sailing.

This anchor has held 4 boats rafted up MUCH bigger than Rebecca without a problem. She’s a joy to own and easy to maintain. I did not replace the canvas as not everyone likes bright yellow – but the current canvas still has life in it so take your time to decide what color you want next!

Winter storage and launch are paid for – I’m happy to help guide you on how to ready her for the launch too which if COVID doesn’t intervene again – will be in mid-May.

1985 Hunter 28.5

RiskyBizHHI – Engine rebuilt 9/18; plumbing replaced 6/19; nav station added with new Simrad GO XSE. Interior sanded and stained. Bottom painted Dec 2018. All 3 original sails. New sail cover 2019. Great Boat!  Located Hilton Head Island, SC.

Tradewind 33

Walker – Tradewind 33 needs no introduction, if you are reading this you will be aware of their rep as a heavy-duty, all-weather cruising boat. With a ballast ratio of 43% these boats stand up to their canvas exceptionally well and will keep going when lesser boats are turning for home.  Bulletproof cutter rig, heavy displacement, go-anywhere cruising home.  Designed by renowned John Rock.  The recent Golden Globe Race had two or three Tradewinds entered which did credibly well and reinforces these boats’ capabilities.  Rare 4 berth layout, this Tradewind 33 is in truly outstanding condition.
