The Bay Regatta 2014

The Bay Regatta or the Phang Nga Bay Regatta is a regatta held annually over 4 days by the Ao Chalong Yacht Club (ACYC) in Phuket Thailand.  The regatta dates for this year are 12th – 16th February 2014. This regatta is a fun competition that showcases 3 of Thailand’s most beautiful provinces, Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi. This year over 50 boats are expected to take part with boats and crew coming from Phuket and further afield.

The Yachts will race from Ao Po Grand Marina through Phang Nga Bay, to Krabi and back to Ao Chalong at Phuket. Stops are made at Ao Po Grand Marina, Paradise Beach Resort on Koh Yao, Villa Laguna on Koh Yao, a ‘free night’ in Krabi with the final celebration party and prize-giving at Ao Chalong Yacht Club (ACYC).
