Feb ’17. Florida to Columbia and yonder

Hi looking to change everything and start a new.
Getting a catamaran in florida in jan/feb, going to cuba then down to Columbia at a leisurely pace bumping into the islands. Then NZ, OZ, Thailand etc.
I need some help though, like someone who knows how to sail, navigate and basic boat stuff. I never sailed before apart from coastal day sails.
Looking for some good female companionship, no strings attached. Someone with sailing, navigational, weather forecasting experience and a few good yarns to tell is always entertaining. Bad choices make for interesting stories I say.
Im really easygoing, funny, flexible and open minded to new ideas. I just need help with the sailing really.

Langkawi to Burmese border

Christmas and new year sailing from Langkawi, Malaysia to Koh Phayam, Thailand in my Najad 390.
Departing early to Mid December, Returning to Langkawi Mid January.
This will be a relaxed, social cruise.

Seeking crew to sail a 22-meter classic wooden Yawl from Greece to the Canary Islands.

Hi all,

I am seeking 2-4 crew members to sail my VEGA from Greece to the Canary Islands this Fall.

I know this is a last-minute call but we decided to leave the Ionian Sea and head out West to the Canary’s before winter arrives. We will depart from Preveza in Greece on Sept. 17 and hope to reach Las Palmas in Gran Canariy by end of November.

This trip is offered on a shared cost basis, which means we share costs for food, fuel and any fees (no repairs or such though). You can join for the whole trip or individual legs, which are planned as follows:

    • Leg 1: Sa, 17.09.2016 – Sa, 24.09.2016 Preveza, GR – Syracus, IT (300 nm)
    • Leg 2: Sa, 24.09.2016 – Sa, 01.10.2016 Syracus, GR – Cagliari, IT (300 nm)
    • Leg 3: Sa, 08.10.2016 – Sa, 15.10.2016 Cagliari, IT – Palma de Mallorca, ES (300 nm)
    • Leg 4: Sa, 22.10.2016 – Sa, 29.10.2016 Palma de Mallorca, ES – Formenterra, ES (100 nm)
    • Leg 5: Sa, 29.10.2016 – Sa, 05.11.2016 Formenterra, ES – Marbella, ES (350 nm)
    • Leg 6: Sa, 05.11.2016 – Sa, 12.11.2016 Marbella, ES – Gibraltar (50 nm)
    • Leg 7: Sa, 12.11.2016 – Sa, 26.11.2016 (1080 nm) Gibraltar – Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (720 nm)

We hope this works out weather wise. Legs 4 and 6 are intentionally shorter to put in some buffer and also for taking up new provisions before the long leg and to recoup from the earlier trips.

Let us know if you are interested and we can discuss further details.
